About Me
I’m an educator and learning designer who believes the most powerful learning happens when students explore meaningful questions and connect their learning to the world around them. My experience in education spans almost 30 years through many facets, including educational supplies, learning centres, and schools.
In my classroom, I design interdisciplinary learning experiences that invite students to explore history, sustainability, identity, and technology through authentic inquiry. I also collaborate with educators and organizations to design programs and professional learning that support innovative approaches to teaching and learning.
In addition to my classroom work, I have collaborated with organizations such as Dell Technologies and Advanced Learning Partnerships to design professional learning experiences for educators and students across North America. Recently, I collaborated with the Upper Grand District School Board to develop AI professional development learning modules for staff and students. I am also excited to begin working with Logics Academy to support innovative technology and learning initiatives.
My approach is inspired by progressive educators such as John Dewey, Maria Montessori, Jean Piaget, and Seymour Papert, whose work emphasized curiosity, experimentation, and learning through making.
I’m always interested in exploring new ideas and collaborating with educators and organizations who believe learning should be meaningful, creative, and connected to the real world.
